Ca Ong (Whale) Worshipping Festival

Ca Ong Worshipping Festival, also known as the Cau Ngu Festival or What Worshipping Festival will be held on the 11th of December this year. The Festival will be marked with an incense offering ceremony, procession of torch, horn playing by a team of women, drum beating by a team of men, the first incense burning by a boy, Boi singing and Ba trao singing.
The first ever international parachuting festival in Vietnam, the Skydive Boogie Nha Trang 2008, took place in the central coastal city of Nha Trang on March 1-6. The festival drew 160 professional parachutists, who are members of the International Parachuting Commission, from Vietnam and another 15 countries world wide. It is expected that many people will gather for the skydiving activites of the What Worshipping Festival also.
